Healthy 3 minute pizza recipe

Healthy 3 minute pizza recipe

This contains just the right amount of fat and protein. The crust turns out so crispy, light and delicious – a cross between a cracker and a bread stick.

The crust has a lot of protein because it is high in lecithin which helps make everything ‘sticky’ for easy digestion. The crust has so many uses that it is the perfect gift to take along when invited out. It takes only 3 minutes to prepare – just add water and stir until it forms a dough ball.

This healthy pizza recipe is close to the real thing and the whole family loves it – even the pickiest eaters! This entire recipe makes 8 servings so you can always have some for later.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups unbleached wheat flour (sifted)

1/3 cup soy flour (or rice or oat flour, if desired) *For a white pizza crust, omit the soy flour.

2 tablespoons sugar OR 1 tablespoon honey or non-sugar sweetener (such as NutraSweet)

1/16 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 clove fresh minced garlic) *leave out if your family doesn’t like the taste of garlic.

1/2 cup baking yeast (or 1 packet)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour the mixture onto an ungreased cookie sheet or pizza pan, and pat into a circle about 12 inches in diameter. Bake for 8 minutes until the pizza crust is a light golden brown. Remove from oven and add your favorite toppings or sauces, cheese etc.
